Prague bourse firms, Erste, CEZ among gainers

Prague, Sept 18 (CTK) - The Prague Stock Exchange (BCPP) firmed today, its PX index rising by 0.37 percent to 2,283.50 points, with most of the main issues, including banking group Erste and energy firm CEZ, which accounted for most of today's trading on the exchange, improving, according to data from the bourse's website.

Of the 12 blue chips, ten ended today's trading higher. Erste and CEZ issues were among the gainers and achieved the highest trading volume. In addition, Erste shares saw the biggest appreciation, up by 1.14 percent to Kc2,035 apiece. CEZ shares gained 0.32 percent to Kc1,270.

Shares of arms manufacturer Colt CZ grew by 0.39 percent to Kc768 after today's announcement of the group's financial results. Colt CZ Group SE posted revenues of Kc11.015bn for the first half of this year, up by 13.7 percent year-on-year. The group's net profit rose annually by 50.8 percent to Kc919.3m,

Only shares of Moneta Money Bank and the Gevorkyan metallurgical company ended in the red today. Moneta fell by 0.89 percent to Kc156.60 and Gevorkyan erased 0.92 percent to Kc216.
