Colt CZ ups revenues to CZK23.4bn, net profit to CZK2bn
Prague/Uhersky Brod, South Moravia, March 25 (CTK) - Colt CZ Group SE (Colt CZ) saw its revenues grow by 4.6 percent year-on-year to CZK23.398bn last year, its net profit rising by 95.7 percent to CZK2.044bn, according to consolidated unaudited results the company made public today.
The group will propose to the general meeting a dividend payment of CZK30 per share from last year's profits. This must be approved by the general meeting, which is scheduled to take place at the end of the first half of this year.
According to company representatives, the increase in revenues was driven by growth in ammunition deliveries as well as the consolidation of Sellier & Bellot.
The group's revenues from ammunition sales rose by 62.7 percent year-over-year to approximately CZK11.3bn last year. In contrast, the its revenues from weapons sales fell by 21.5 percent year-over-year to about CZK12.1bn.
Colt CZ's net profit increased primarily due to higher operating profitability. The group's EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation), including one-time items, rose by 38.2 percent year-over-year to approximately CZK4.8bn.
According to CEO, Radek Musil, Colt CZ demonstrated its ability to achieve steady growth last year. "Results were primarily driven by the dynamic expansion of the ammunition segment and the full consolidation of Sellier & Bellot, while the firearms segment continued to be impacted by weaker demand in the US commercial market," he said.
" At the same time, we executed key strategic investments and acquisitions that enhance our vertical integration, strengthen supply chain resilience, and support long-term growth. We are entering 2026 with a strong order backlog and a clear focus on integrating newly acquired assets, expanding our capacity, and delivering value to our shareholders," Musil said.
Last year, Colt CZ sold 578,491 firearms, a year-over-year decrease of 8.7 percent. The group's sales declined for both long and short firearms. The group performed better in short firearm sales than in long firearm sales, particularly for CZ-brand products. Sales of Colt-brand products declined year-over-year due, among other factors, to the weakening of the US commercial market.
Revenues from the USA accounted for 28.8 percent of Colt CZ's total revenue last year. Revenues generated in the European market (excluding the Czech Republic) accounted for 34.6 percent, while revenues in the Czech Republic accounted for 20.6 percent. Canada accounted for 6 percent, Asia for 5.6 percent, Latin America for 2.8 percent, and Africa for 1 percent, with the remainder coming from other countries around the world.
The group allocated CZK1.035bn to investments last year, a 12.3 percent increase year-over-year. For the entire current year, the group expects revenues of CZK30-36bn.
According to the company representatives, Colt CZ's priority this year remains cooperation with NATO and EU member states, as well as with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).
