Stock trading volumes on the Prague Stock Exchange continue to reach record highs

Trading volumes on the Prague Stock Exchange continue to rise. In the first quarter of 2026, the volume of equity trades reached CZK 50.8 billion, representing a 24.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
The Prague Stock Exchange is building on an exceptionally strong 2025, when the volume of equity trading increased by more than 55% year-over-year. Growing investor activity confirms continued interest in the domestic capital market as well as improving liquidity of traded securities.

The CSG share issue, which has been traded on the unregulated Free Market since January 23, also contributes to overall liquidity. During the first 48 trading days, the total trading volume for this issue reached CZK 4.1 billion, corresponding to an average daily volume exceeding CZK 85 million. The issue is the fifth most traded stock on the Prague Stock Exchange in the first quarter.
