Komercni banka shareholders OK gross dividend of Kc82.66 per share

Prague, April 24 (CTK) - Komercni banka (KB) shareholders today approved the board's proposal to pay out a dividend of Kc82.66 per share before tax from last year's profit, the bank's spokeswoman Sarka Nevoralova told CTK.

The majority shareholder of KB is the French bank Societe Generale with a 60.4 percent stake. Komercni banka has more than 69,000 shareholders, most of them individuals from the Czech Republic.

A shareholder who owns shares in the bank as of May 6, 2024, will be entitled to the dividend. The payout date has been set to May 27, 2024.

Komercni banka's net profit fell by 11.4 percent year-on-year to Kc15.6bn last year. For 2022, the dividend was Kc60.42 per share, totalling of Kc11.5bn. The proposed dividend amounted to 65 percent of the net profit for the previous year, while this year it is 100 percent.
